Abuse rarely announces itself as abuse.
It often arrives slowly, quietly, and in ways that feel easy to excuse at first. By the time it becomes obvious, trust has already been shaped, boundaries have already been blurred, and speaking up feels harder than staying silent.
Thatβs why awareness matters. Not to create fear, but to create clarity. To name what so often gets missed in real time. To protect what is vulnerable before it is normalized away.
Pay attention to patterns that minimize your voice, isolate your questions, or ask you to ignore what your body already knows.

I wish more people knew that PTSD exists without a medical diagnosis and that people with PTSD are more vulnerable and need a little extra understanding, respect, kindness and compassion. π
PTSD doesn't always look the way people think it does.
