We see sixty/seventy year-old amps all the time but 90 year-old amps that are still working are hard to come by. This is a Kay 859 made in Chicago in the late 1930s. It uses very unusual tubes for today standards, but sounds great! Tubes: 6c8g, 6c5, 6n6 and 80 (rectifier).

Installed a Mid Control in this Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue, very simple mod and much better sounding than the traditional tube screamer mid boost.
