The Houston Mountain Bike Association (HMBA) is a registered non-profit based in Houston, BC — built by volunteers, backed by riders, and rooted in community. We believe mountain biking isn’t just about bikes — it’s about connection. To health. To each other. That’s why we’re working hard to grow access, stewardship, and momentum for mountain biking in our region. What we’re about:
• Making mountain biking fun, safe, and accessible for all ages and skill levels
• Promoting responsible off-road riding + land stewardship
• Partnering on land access and trail planning with local and regional groups
• Restoring, building, and maintaining trails that riders love
• Creating a Northern BC Mountain Bike Corridor alongside fellow trail orgs
• Offering community-led education on:
– Mountain bike safety
– Low-impact trail practices
– Trail design, building, and maintenance

Let's remember that the Uptrack between P1 and P2 is a multi-use trail.
We share this trail with foot traffic also enjoying the easy walk, this includes seniors and young families. Reduce your speed and communicate with all users.
It is also a welcomed off leash area, however again the 4 legged trail users are some times deaf or sight challenged. Reduce your speed, share the trail and make sure your off leash dogs do not approach other dogs without consent. Dogs are also not allowed to harass wildlife while in the trail areas.
And definitely NO HUNTING near the trails.
