Award-winning Community Theatre. ABOUT THE THEATRE
The Century Church Theatre is located in the former Hillsburgh Community Christian Church.

Built in 1906, the church provides an intimate and acoustically excellent venue for live performances, both plays and concerts. The theatre is a work in progress. The Erin Arts Foundation is continuing to upgrade the building, adding to its safety, comfort and convenience. As money is raised, the Foundation is adding the lighting, sound and other equipment to create a versatile space suitable not

only for performances, but also for weddings, meetings and children’s programs. You can rent the theatre and/or Green Room for your event. For details, please call the Box Office at 519.855.4586. THE ERIN ARTS FOUNDATION
The Erin Arts Foundation is a volunteer organization dedicated to sponsoring live entertainment in the Town of Erin. The Foundation administers the Century Church Theatre. The Foundation engages professional and internationally-recognized artists, provides a performance space and expertise for local performers, and subsidizes programs for children. Experienced practitioners provide hands-on education for volunteers wishing to learn about lighting, set construction, stage management, theatre management and operation, as well as performance skills. CENTURY THEATRE GUILD
Century Theatre Guild is an amateur company and member of the Association of Community Theatres Central Ontario (ACTCO). The Guild is open to anyone interested in participating in theatre, whether on stage, backstage, or on the many other roles necessary to make theatre happen. FUNDRAISE WITH A THEATRE TRIP
You can raise money for your own group or charity with a trip to this theatre. Century Church Theatre will present a private performance of one of our plays for your group, and will share the proceeds with you. We can also help you arrange a fund-raising dinner nearby to make your evening complete. Have fun while you raise money. Start your planning now for next season. Check out this gorgeous artwork 😍

These watercolour pieces are the work of CCT artist and performer Jason Riedel Needle, known to many patrons for his striking set painting contributions through the years, and his extensive theatre resume, which will soon include Detective Stackhouse in Filthy Rich.

Featuring scenes from classic films like Double Indemnity, The Mark of Zorro, Laura, and The Maltese Falcon, all will be hung as part of the Filthy Rich set decor.

Think you'd like to own one of them once our production has wrapped? We will be holding an auction to raise money for theatre repairs and renovations. Complete details to come!

Dinner And A Show Is Back!

Join us on Saturday September 26 at 5:30pm for a delicious dinner at St. Andrew's Church, and a 7:30pm performance of the comedy thriller Filthy Rich at Century Church Theatre.

The Ladies Hospitality team at St. Andrew's is preparing a heavenly roasted turkey on the bone dinner, complete with mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, cranberries, stuffing, gravy, and rolls -- the perfect autumn meal. Cake, coffee, and tea finish off the experience before guests head over to Century Church Theatre to enjoy our fabulous production of Filthy Rich.

Will Tyrone find Harrison before it’s too late? Who’s a good guy, and who can he trust in this charade? This fast-paced, award-winning comedy thriller is written in a dramatic film noir style. The witty dialogue and non-stop action will keep audiences on the edge of their seats right to the very end.

As the famous song goes ... we get by with a little (a lot!) of help from our friends.

Gavin Dandy of Everdale, an Erin Rotarian and friend of CCT, offered to come by the theatre today with his tractor. He did a stellar job removing topsoil and distributing the gravel to a neat and level finish. Thank you Gavin!

Preparations have begun for our new on-site storage! We are so excited and grateful to James Dick Aggregates for bringing 10 yards of gravel to the theatre today.
