Elli Papangelakis champions science with McMaster's Geotrails Project. Elli and colleague Alex Peace lead a team of undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. The team is building virtual field trips featuring trails and attractions throughout Ontario. The online and interactive tours highlight local geology, ecology and fluvial (river) highlights along the trails.

Dylan Kobsar champions science with the Performance and Wellness Workshop, organizing a three-day community event for coaches, trainers and students. The event kicked off with a women's-only day that focused on continuing education and professional development, obstacles and solutions in the industry, and networking opportunities for women in the field.

Gita Ljubicic champions science by sharing her research with everyone. Marianne Longo champions science by leading Senior Fit Day, an annual community outreach event for the Department of Kinesiology. During the event, Kinesiology students assess older adult volunteers' physical fitness under a physiotherapist's direction. Students get to put their knowledge and skills to work while community volunteers learn more about fitness in a fun and supportive environment.

Robert Cockcroft champions science as the W.J. McCallion Planetarium director. Robert leads a team of graduate student presenters who deliver custom tours to community members of all ages and was the driving force behind McMaster's Faculty of Science adding a portable planetarium in 2022.
