☀️Summer 💃 Dancing ⛰️ and a West Coast meet-up 🌊

Babywearing Dnace classes at have been a hit and there will be *at least* two more weeks of classes! Sign up for Wednesdays at Noon!

The meet-up this month will be at Acadia Park in Lower Sackville. Come find us at 12 on June 16 by the playground! It’s a tad early this month, so heads up!

A super fun babywearing extravaganza is being planned by .babywearing in Victoria, BC. If you happen to be on vacation out west or have friends out that way let them know!

It’s tiiime ☀️ Outdoor meet-ups are here!

Nothing like a little outdoor time to reset, relax, and learn about babywearing! Outdoor meet-ups mean more space, more flexibility with start times, and more sunshine!

🌧️ Rain dates will always be the following Thursday, same time same place, unless otherwise posted.

🪿 First one will be at Sullivans Pond on Tuesday, May 26! See you there!

The Carried by the Sea Monthly Newletter has finally launched! If you have ever been a part of my services you will receive this in your inbox!

Only one will go out a month, plus a reminder email a week before the monthly meet-up.

If you would like to receive the newsletter and aren’t on the list yet please comment NEWS and I will get it to you!

The newsletter will include the monthly calendar, any information on collaborations happening that month, and other fun little tidbits on babywearing, different carriers, or local community events or supports.

A year into running Carried by the Sea I can’t believe how much a LOVE being part of the postpartum support community in Halifax. It’s truly an incredible group of people to be apart of, and I wish I knew half these folks when my son was born.

Nervous to try doing it on your own?
Forget the carriers and try practicing the hip scoot to help get you started!

💪 Tips:
🐻 Start with a doll or a stuffed if you want!
⚠️ Take it slow! It’s not a race.
🤩 Make it fun! Babies really do love being tossed around!
😎 If you’re feeling confident, try with the carrier!
🤲 If you need extra support reach out! There are lots of ways I can be there to help you out!
