We’re excited to share that Dr. Ellen Jopling (who joins the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience on July 1) is a recipient of a 2026 Banting Discovery Award, valued at $30,000.

Dr. Jopling studies how early-life stress shapes mental and physical health in children and adolescents, with a focus on resilience and early intervention. Currently, she is a CIHR Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital.
