This is who simultaneously rocks your newborn, bolsters your confidence, and fills your fridge with one-handed snacks.
She’s always been a nurturer, a helper, a healer, and someone who gives meaningful advice. She’ll remind you to eat, refill your water, and cheer you on after that first postpartum poo (yours and baby’s!!!)
She brings both lived and professional experience with little ones and postpartum hormonal surges, and stays up to date on evidence-based information.
Hi! I’m Aimee. I love my job and get such a rush watching families bloom!!!

Reflections on Mother's Day, 2026
My sweet babies. The two of you made me a mom, and it’s been such a joy (and a whirlwind not without a few grey hairs!) watching you grow into adulthood.
From Elliot’s labour starting on her due date but ending 48 hours later with a fist-first “power pose” delivery, to Felix trying to arrive 10 weeks early and then deciding to be 10 days overdue instead, you’ve both always rocked your own colours.
Parents spend so much time worrying about how to raise good humans, but you never really know if you’ve done it until one day… you realize it’s already happening. I wish I knew the magic formula!
How lucky am I?
I am so proud to be your mom, your cheerleader, your home base, and your protective willow tree.
Thank you for choosing me as your mama. ❤️

Do these stairs lead to adventure? Or do they make you start to worry?
Maybe you want to avoid them for fear of slipping. Maybe they make you want to splash right in. Maybe it depends on the day.
Navigating postpartum, and parenthood in general, can feel a lot like this. There are always different ways to view the path ahead, and many possible turns along the journey.
You don’t have to leap. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to keep moving. But you don't need to do it alone.
Want someone to sit beside you, guide you, or cheer you on? A doula can do that!

Pro tip from a postpartum doula who’s in a lot of kitchens and nurseries 👀
If you’ve picked up baby gear (or honestly, any appliance) secondhand and it came with zero instructions… let AI do the heavy lifting.
Snap a photo of the label or the item itself and drop it into ChatGPT with something like:
“Identify the make and model, check for any recalls, and link the user manual.”
Done.
I see alllll the gear in my work, sterilizers, pumps, coffee machines, vacuums, mystery drying racks, and not all of it is familiar. This has become my go-to cheat sheet for figuring out safe, intended use quickly (and confidently).
Because you shouldn’t need a scavenger hunt just to make a bottle or a cup of coffee ☕🍼
**I will say yes, I like helpful, ethical AI. For information and minor editing help. For analyzing data and finding the bigger picture. Not for thinking for me. Not for entertaining with deep fakes. And I always verify!!!**

Sure, I multitask and make muffins while babywearing and folding laundry so you can rest. I hand out compliments and validate your concerns, judgement free. I offer evidence-based answers. I am always happy to model and demonstrate baby care techniques and talk in great detail about diaper contents. I truly listen, and I give hugs and high fives when appropriate.
But it is the little things that make me a postpartum star. The behind-the-scenes things. The ones you might not even notice, but that help the day to day run just a little smoother.
Like filling the reservoir on the Keurig, the kettle, or the Baby Brezza. Refilling the soap dispenser. Straightening the shoes in the entryway or fluffing the couch cushions. Topping up the spice jars or the sugar canister. Making sure the wipes are full and the diaper caddy is stocked.
Little gestures that quietly say, you are supported here.
The goal?
So you can move through your day feeling a little more human, a little more rested, and fully like the rock star parent you already are.
If you had a postpartum fairy for the day, what little thing would you ask them to do first?

On this International Woman's Day, I am honoured to call these strong women my colleagues and friends. And to all the moms & nurturers we support, uplift, and are raising - I see you and am proud to have you in my circle.

Me: a postpartum support professional.
Also me, 30 seconds after taking the baby out of the wrap… wondering when this wholesome criss-cross situation got so dramatic. 😅
