Hey Studio Art and Art History Students!

If you’re looking to get more involved in the campus community and contribute to arts and culture at the university, we have a ton of wonderful executive positions to fill for the 2026-2027 FAN team!

We would love to see lots of new faces this upcoming year and we have a lot of exciting things planned.

Hey SART Students! There’s some big changes coming to the SART Program so listen up! 📣🗣️

Restrictions that are being eliminated:
1. Students will no longer be restricted to 2 SART classes per semester.
2. SART 2000 LVL classes will no longer be restricted to students who have completed 10.0 credits or less.

Restrictions that begin Summer 2026:
1. All studio art majors will be restricted to a total of three 2000 LVL studio classes (with the exception of SART 2700, the Digital Image, which can be taken as a 4th studio at the 2000 LVL.

NEW COURSES:
• SART 1090: Making Comics
• SART 2700: The Digital Image
• SART 3950: Exhibitions: Design, Theory, and Practice
• SART 3990: Pro Practice: Art & Business

Changes to CAPSTONE Prerequisites in Summer 2026:
1. Currently, students must complete 2 SART 4000 LVL studio classes to be able to register in SART 4900 or 4910 (the capstones).
2. Beginning in Summer 2026, students will require only one SART 4000 LVL to register for a capstone class, provided they concurrently register in a second SART 4000 lvl studio.

Example: Fall semester: Drawing 3
Winter semester: Sculpture 3 & Capstone

✈️TRIP SIGN-UP INFORMATION✈️

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Spots will fill very quickly and this form will only be open from 12pm until 11:59pm on Friday, March 13th

If you secure a spot, you will be added to an email chain where we will plan how to recieve your information for the flight and hotel. The sign up form will be in our bio in the Linktree.

There is a required deposit of $200.00 CAD that we are asking students to send upon filling out the sign up form. This deposit secures your spot on the trip. The flight cost and hotel cost are being subsidized by the school, so the only money were asking for is the inital deposit. Food, shopping and any other activies that aren’t planned by FAN and MSA, will be at the cost of the student while on the trip.
