Our goals should be big, huge and scare the s**t out of us!! So for some of them, we might never reach them. But you know what we will meet, our standards (Ed Mylett). So what do your standards need to be?? I suggest having huge dreams, set big goals, that will give you direction, and then decide your standards and don’t deviate from what you absolutely will accept/tolerate.

Getting back into the gym with a body I do not recognize is not easy. I feel self-conscious, out of shape and exhausted. My whole vibe is not what I use to be. But that doesn’t mean I give up. It doesn’t mean I need to accept that and stay feeling this way forever. I think we all have a right to acknowledge the “seasons” that we aren’t our best. The stages of life that have us starting over, picking up little pieces and trying to patch ourselves back together again. I’m documenting my “restart” because I know one day when I figure it all out, and I’m on top of my game, I’m gonna lose sight of how hard I worked and how far I came! I hope you also take a moment to reflect on what season you are in and where you are headed.

*That my body is freaking amazing
*My weight doesn’t determine my value
*Exercise is good for your mental and physical health
*Gaining weight can be a good thing
*You only get one body and when you need it, you want it to work!!
Giving birth to my baby made me appreciate my body for so much more than how it looks. I need to love and cherish it because I am nothing without it 💖

I love this reminder today because so often it is easy to feel defeated when obstacles slow you down from reaching your goals. But I remind myself that as long as I keep moving forward, my speed is not a problem. It’s the stop, or loss of motivation that kills your dreams. I refuse to stop, give up or back track regardless of the pace I am moving!

I’m noticing that doing what feels hard in the moment actually turns out to be the easier decision. For instance starting a workout feels hard. But skipping the workout always ends up feeling the hardest. Falling into unhealthy habits because I lack energy feels like a damn easy excuse but living with the consequences of poor choices is actually the hardest! So you gotta ask yourself, do you want the hard now and live your best life, or choose easy over and over and live feeling half yourself?

Can you imagine something even better? What is the secret to living your absolute best life? The one where you imagine everything you want and then get it? First you allow yourself to dream the dream. Then you decide who you need to become to live that dream. And then... you set out to become everything you need to become in order to absolutely believe into the core of your heart and soul that you are her and that you deserve to live this dream. Often it is not money that holds us back. It’s the fact we don’t allow ourselves to have it. We don’t even find ourselves worthy of dreaming big dreams. Girl, we are all the same! That wealthy perfect girl you admire has the same fears, worries and broken pieces you do. You are everything you desire to be! Go get it!

The world wants the real you!! The unfiltered, real talk, honest and happy person that you are! Too many worry constantly about what others think... will they like me? What will they think? How will being myself make them feel? Can we just stop worrying about everyone else and just do what the hell makes us feel good?!!! I love deep honest conversations with women who love who they are and stop worrying about what everyone else thinks. When we are ourselves, we can love others the way they are too! And if they don’t love you, they are the wrong people!!!

My top 9 motivational posts from 2020!! This New Years does not feel like a new beginning. I have not set out big resolutions like previous years. But what I am doing is a full audit. An audit of what I learned (hindsight is 2020) who my solid friends & family are, what I used/wasted my energy on and what I am truly thankful for! Learning from 2020 so that I can live 2021 a stronger, wiser and happier person!!
