Ian MacInnis is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Craft and Design Glass Program and the recipient of the Nortel Flameworking Award, the Glen Williams Glassblowing Award and the Bonnie Block Memorial Award. His journey into the glass making world began with a trip to New York’s Corning Museum of Glass in the fall of 2011.After completing his advanced diploma at Sheridan College, Ian has continued

A great day with friends and glass. I along with .getz.glass and were given the amazing opportunity to demo at this year's Space and Place Symposium. This year's Symposium aimed to highlight those in the craft community typically found behind the scenes brought to the forefront. All of us who took part in the demo were a part of the Netflix series Blown Away as assistants meant to help the artist make their pieces, today, however, we all worked together to create our own piece meant to highlight the teamwork and collaboration of glass.
