Loving a drug addict or an alcoholic is the hardest thing you will ever do. Even though all you want is to help them get back to a clean, healthy, and sober life, at some point, you realize you are enabling the addiction, as you have so many times before. You continue enabling them by always listening to the excuses, blaming yourself, and being there to bail them out. You want to grab and shake them and say "You have so much to live for and so many that love you, why do you continue doing this with your life?" But, at some point you realize that wouldn't make a difference no matter how much you love them or how hard you try to help them. So you sit on the sidelines and watch the tragedy unfold, feeling helpless to stop it, feeling like you haven't done enough to help, when in the end, the only truth to it all is, you can only begin to help the addict when the addict decides to help themselves.
Battling a drug/alcohol addiction is a beast for the person addicted and the ones who love them. It's heartbreaking and earth shattering. So l am asking you to stand with me in prayer for every family member and friend who has lost or is losing their battle with drugs and alcohol and those who continue to conquer it! Put this on your page for one hour if you know someone who has or had an addiction. .đź’ś
And never say it won’t happen to your family. 🥺

I help them find happiness and inner peace so they can enjoy their lives.
Maybe if people's heads weren't buried in the sand of ignorance and they took the time to understand, instead of judging and thinking it won't happen to them because they have the perfect family, life would be a little bit easier for people that do experience this! For family and friends who live under this shadow. The days of 'it' not being talked about or being taboo should be over. In the most difficult moments of life you realize who your true friends are, and the people who really appreciate you. Unfortunately, most social media 'friends' aren't true friends. They will send you a "like" here and there, but in reality they do not take time to read your status if they see it's lengthy. More than half will stop reading right here, or have already scrolled on to the next post on their page. I decided to post this message in support of all those who continue to battle with their mental illness. (Su***de is at an all time high). Now, let's see who will have taken the time to read this lengthy post right through to the end. If you have read everything so far, please "like" it so that I can put a thank you on your page. More mental health awareness is urgently needed. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean people aren't suffering. Please, try to spare a little of your time with someone who may just want to talk (about anything). Talking can help us all to cope a little more, keeping things bottled up just makes it worse. Most people will say, "if you need anything, don't hesitate to call me, I'll be there to help you" but will they? I believe a select few of my friends will post this, to show their support for those who may be struggling. You just have to copy and paste rather than sharing. I'd like to know who will take a minute out of their day to read this all the way to the end and then copy and paste it to their page, will you? If so, please write "done" in the comments. Thank you!
August is alcohol and drug addiction month.
Everybody has their own opinions on alcohol and drug addiction, but until you've been there, your opinion means nothing. You don't control addiction, it controls you. There are some lucky ones who have beat it, but don't think because they're still alive, that life is gravy. They fight everyday, all day to stay sober and clean. It's a constant battle from the time they open their eyes until they close them, and it never goes away.
Most are good people who made a bad choice. Some didn't even have a choice. Battling an addiction is a beast for the person addicted and the ones who love them.
So, in loving memory of every family member and friend who has lost their battle with addiction, and those who continue to conquer it, put this on your page if you know someone who has or had an addiction.💔🙏🏻❤️‍🩹

You took away my self worth, my privacy, my energy, my time, my safety, my intimacy, my confidence, MY voice ... until now.
It’s been 15 years since finding my voice, and walking away from 15 years of abuse with some dignity. And every year, I continue to build strength, self worth, and confidence. Every year, it stings just a little bit less. Every day, I heal a little more.
This is my story, and I will continue to tell it.
I am a survivor.
If you, or someone you know are struggling with domestic abuse, or feeling depressed .. I urge you to please reach out. I am opening up my calendar to offer a free 1:1 coaching session to anyone who needs to talk ~ about anything ~ in a safe, judgment free space.

“The magic happens on the other side of fear.”
Getting in front of a video camera and creating video content scares the s**t out of me .. posting it horrifies me even more. Knowing how much this scares me, and gives me slight anxiety (ok, maybe a lot), makes me realize it is my next step in my personal growth journey, and a very viable step in continuing to grow my coaching business.
With an amazing support group backing me up, I am finally taking the plunge .. I invite you to watch this short video outlining who I work with, and why. I also invite you to share this with as many people as possible. You never know who needs to hear it, or who’s life it may save.
Let’s work together to . And in case you need a reminder ...
You’ve got this! One day at a time. You are resilient, courageous, and capable. Be proud of yourself. It isn’t easy enduring depression/anxiety.
