✨Before and After✨

Been slacking on waxing up my boots! Finally got it done and wow did they ever need some help. With all the salt and slush now is the time to clean them up! 🧼🥾

Don’t forget to wipe them down with rubbing alcohol before you apply wax 😊

👑 The Queen 👑

Did you know that in peak season a queen honey bee can lay more than 3,000 eggs a day? That’s more than her body weight! 🤯

While she is the most important individual in the hive, being the only one who can lay worker bees, she is actually not the one that calls the shots! If the workers suspect she is failing her duties, they will raise another and supersede her.

Can you spot the queen? 👑🐝

I have been on a little hiatus since Christmas and that’s because some exciting things are happening… I am back in Sudbury, for good!
I have been offered a great opportunity back home and decided it is worth coming back to the cold 🤩🥶

Missed my hive by a hair!!! 😅

If you don’t live in St. Catharines, we’ve had some crazy winds the last few days and a 70ft spruce fell just inches from my only hive at this yard. That would have sucked! 😮‍💨
