This morning, I had the opportunity to celebrate with the amazing students and staff at I.V. Macklin Public School and Derek Taylor Public School.

There are some people in our community who quietly, consistently make a difference - and then there are those whose impact ripples across generations. Rhonda and Linda Side are exactly that.

I am incredibly proud to celebrate and share that Rhonda and Linda have been nominated by the Grande Prairie Public School Division to receive an Alberta School Boards Association Friends of Education Award.

Their passion for literacy, their unwavering belief in students, and their commitment to building connections between schools, families, and community is nothing short of inspiring.

Rhonda and Linda are true community builders and outstanding ambassadors for education. We are so fortunate to have them in Grande Prairie, and even more grateful for the difference they continue to make every single day.
