At QB Tutors, every session is tailored to your child’s learning style and goals—whether they need extra support, want to build confidence, or are looking to stay ahead.

All tutoring sessions are cancelled for the foreseeable future.

Having an ankle fracture and multiple jobs in the summer is not for the faint of heart. Sometimes you have to change things up.

I will let current client know when sessions are to be starting again.

📚 249 hours tutored.

This number represents so much more than time.

It represents students who kept showing up, families who prioritized education, and the power of consistency—even when the school year didn't go as planned.

The teachers' strike brought uncertainty for many students, but one thing remained the same: learning didn't stop. Whether students needed to stay on track, catch up, or get ahead, we continued showing up together.

For me personally, this year also meant balancing tutoring with being a full-time Bachelor of Education student. December slowed down while I tackled university finals, but as soon as exams were over, we were right back to helping students succeed.

Looking back at these monthly totals reminds me that success isn't about having perfect months—it's about continuing to move forward, even through busy seasons and unexpected challenges.

To every student and family who trusted QB Tutors this year: thank you. Your commitment to learning is what made these 249 hours possible, and I'm so proud of everything we accomplished together.

Learning doesn’t have to feel like worksheets at a table. ✨

Some of the best learning happens through play, movement, laughter, and connection. This week we worked on:
🔤 identifying uppercase and lowercase letters
🔺 recognizing shapes
🧮 practicing counting skills
💛 building confidence every step of the way
😂 giggles, high fives, and some very proud moments

Watching kids light up when something finally clicks is one of my favourite parts of tutoring. When children feel safe, supported, and engaged, learning becomes something they want to do — and that changes everything.

Every session is built around meeting kids where they’re at while making learning interactive, encouraging, and fun. Because confidence grows fastest when kids are enjoying the process. 🌱

Watching confidence grow in real time — especially during those little “I did it!” moments — is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

Tutoring has never been just about grades for me. 💛

For me, the most important part of the learning process is the connection and relationship we build along the way. When students feel comfortable, supported, and understood, that’s when real learning happens. I love creating a space where kids can ask questions freely, make mistakes without fear, and grow in confidence at their own pace.

Some of the best moments are watching a student go from “I can’t do this” to feeling proud of themselves and excited to learn. The laughs, conversations, games, little victories, and trust we build together are what make this so meaningful to me. ✨

I want every session to feel encouraging, safe, engaging, and personalized to each child and how they learn best — because every student deserves to feel capable and valued. 📚

With some big life changes coming up, I’ve been reflecting even more on how grateful I am for every family, student, and connection that has been part of this journey so far. 🤍
