Hello everyone! I had mentioned in a previous post that I would be doing some groups for different age groups this summer as well. This group is geared towards students going into Kindergarten in September (or children who are going from day care to a more structured Pre-K classroom/program). During the sessions, we will run through a short classroom routine similar to a Kindergarten circle time, so kids can practice participating in the group, following classroom expectations, and gaining confidence to go to Kindergarten independently!

Unfortunately, due to low registration, I had to cancel the outdoor event for this Saturday. I am truly hoping that it was just due to unfortunate timing and that I can make it happen in the future and get enough interest! Outdoor learning is my fave! So, stay tuned for updates on a rescheduled date!!

NOTE: CHANGES TO THE GET OUTDOORS EVENT!

Hello everyone!

So I have decided to make some changes to the Let's Get Outdoors event to include ages 0-5 years and make it more of a whole family event. This way, if you have more than one child within that age range, they can all come! I want it to be a fun, family outdoor learning opportunity, so I broadened the age range to try to make this more accessible!

Things to note:
-The cost is per family; so if you have more than one child attending with you, the cost remains the same
-We will meet under the gazebo at Gorge Park for some songs and a story before heading out to explore the trails and nature all around for other fun activities--so dress for the weather and walking!

Hello everyone! I am in the process of adding dates for the rest of June and July for Listen and Learn groups! As I will be on summer holidays from my full-time job at the end of June, I am adding a couple of mid-week morning sessions as well as some Saturdays. The day of the week I have chosen at the moment is Thursday. But I wanted to check in and see if any of you have feedback for any day of the week that you might avail of in particular before setting the dates...Would love to hear from you! :)

Well today is certainly a good day for ducks !! 🌧️ So, it was fitting for our Listen and Learn group theme! 🦆 Thanks to those who joined us today! I am meeting new families every week, which is so great!

- June 6th Get Outdoors family event for children 0-5 years
- June 13th Listen and Learn group session for 0-3 years
