On the Passing of Jim Hughes:

My deepest respect for Jim Hughes and the legacy he has built for all of us to tread upon and continue building a culture of life.
In many ways, our organizations exist because of his passion for life and his dedication to acting on those convictions throughout the public sphere.

Jim was a great encourager.
While discussing with him the ongoing Billings Ovulation Method fertility education work that the Ontario Natural Family Planning Association does, he confirmed and reiterated the importance of our organization's commitment to continuing to help women gain this knowledge.

His humility and quiet resolve preceded him, as he put all of his efforts toward protecting the sanctity of life by pursuing the end of legalized death.

In 1994, at the request of Pope John Paul II, Jim became involved in establishing a presence at the United Nations and secured ECOSOC status for Campaign Life Coalition as an accredited non-governmental organization.
Fittingly, he has passed from this life to enter the abode of heaven on the anniversary of the late, great Pope St. John Paul II's birthday, May 18th, 2026.
May his soul rest in the solace of Our Lady's Mantle. 🙏❤
