We’re hoping to help keep more U18 girls on the ice this season!

Central Female Hockey Association is exploring the possibility of forming a U18 team for players born between 2009 and 2011.

Right now, they are trying to gauge interest to see if there are enough players to make this happen.

If you know someone who might be interested, please share this post and encourage them to register their interest.

Let’s see if we can make this happen for these girls!

🤩Now that high school tryouts are finished we are looking for expression of interest from U18 players in hopes to form a team. Some came forward and are interested so we would love to try again to keep this age group on the ice!

Great event happening today at the Oromocto and Area SPCA!

Our friends at Labrador Trucking are hosting the 1st Annual Paws for a Cause from 1 PM to 5 PM.

Stop by, help fill the dump truck with much needed supplies, enjoy the BBQ and activities, and support a great local cause.

Hope to see lots of people out there today!

Paws for a Cause is Today!! Join us at the Oromocto and Area SPCA to fill our Dump Truck with items for the shelter, enjoy a BBQ & Tim Hortons, Jesse Campbell Magic, Dragon Mire Farms, silent auction, face painting, live music, free stickers, and more! See you there from 1pm to 5pm! ❤️

What an honour!

An unforgettable experience in New York City as we celebrated Doug Grandy being named the 2026 NHL Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award winner at Madison Square Garden!

A heartfelt thank you to NHL Unites and Nora for making this incredible experience possible and for recognizing the people who dedicate themselves to making hockey a more welcoming and inclusive sport.

To our fellow finalists, Steven, Bill, Kendal, Vinnie and Sonny, thank you for everything you do for your communities. It was an honour to share this experience with you. Your passion and dedication are a reminder that hockey is so much more than a game. It is about creating opportunities, breaking down barriers and giving everyone a place to belong.

To Willie O’Ree, thank you for paving the way and continuing to inspire generations through your incredible legacy.

To our Rink Rebels families, players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and supporters, this recognition belongs to all of you.

What started as a vision to create more opportunities for girls in hockey has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined. None of this would be possible without the incredible people who believe in what we are building together.

Standing in Madison Square Garden and seeing that vision recognized on such an incredible stage is a moment we will never forget.

We return home with full hearts, unforgettable memories and even more motivation to continue creating opportunities for the next generation of female hockey players.

The future of female hockey is bright, and we are just getting started!

Congratulations to all the girls named to the U18 AAA TNT Western Flames roster for the 2026–27 season!

It’s great to see so many familiar faces earning an opportunity at the next level. And a big shoutout to every girl who stepped on the ice and competed through the tryout process. Putting yourself out there and giving it your best is something to be proud of too.

A pretty incredible tribute from Hunter Brothers Farm in Florenceville!

Their 2026 corn maze is celebrating the PWHL Victoire de Montréal and their Walter Cup championship, bringing women’s hockey into one of New Brunswick’s favourite fall traditions.

Hunter Brothers Farm always does an amazing job creating something fun for families, and this year’s theme is a pretty special one for hockey fans.

We know a bunch of Rebels will be making their way to Florenceville to take on the maze this fall! 🌽
