For 60 years, the Microscopy and Microanalysis Facility (MMF) within the Faculty of Science at UNB has helped researchers and industry partners uncover what can't be seen with the naked eye.

From advanced manufacturing and critical minerals to nuclear energy and emerging technologies, the facility plays a vital role in helping researchers understand how materials perform, why they fail, and how they can be improved.

As Canada looks to strengthen its capacity in areas such as energy security, resource sovereignty, and advanced manufacturing, the MMF continues to provide the expertise, technology, and hands-on training that drive innovation forward.
