Huge thanks to Wabanaki Media Inc. for an incredible week of podcasting, storytelling, live game streaming, editing softwares, and learning how to create content that stands out. Our participants took turns interviewing each other, playing both host and guest roles, and successfully recorded TWELVE short podcast episodes.

One of our favourite workshops is back 🎮💻

We're excited to partner with Dell Technologies once again to bring Girls Who Game back to Esgenoôpetitj First Nation on October 26-27, 2026.

Open to Indigenous youth ages 16+ and all genders, this two-day workshop uses Minecraft Education to bring together gaming, storytelling, creativity, and technology in a team-based environment. Along the way, participants will tackle challenges, build strategies, and explore new ways of thinking, creating, and collaborating.

Today, the cohort stepped away from the laptops to spend time with our Elder - Angela Beek to learn about the medicine pouch and make one for themselves. Each pouch can hold something different, whether it's medicines, personal items, or stories that are meaningful to the person who made it.

It was a meaningful opportunity to learn, listen, spend time together as a group.
