The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge #God #Jesus
Sometimes, you need to stand up for yourself, even if it's the last thing you want to do.
Sometimes, as a dad, you need to bump up the intensity. I share a quick story from my own parenting experience...

Christian Men: Is Your Pressure Gauge Flashing?
If the dashboard light in your truck won’t quit, you don’t smash the dash—you pull over, lift the hood, and figure it out.
That’s what this page is for.
🔨 The Forge is a place where pressure isn’t the enemy—it’s the messenger.
Together we’ll figure out whether that signal means:
• Persevere – keep hammering with fresh grit
• Pivot – change the angle or approach
• Prepare – cool the steel, regroup, and ready for what’s next
My gauge flashed for years—toxic bosses, a marriage on the brink, private battles no one saw. I tried to out-work the warning light until God let the screws drop (literally) and showed me a better way: heat, hammer, quench… growth.
What you can expect here:
1️⃣ Short stories from the shop, the office, and the home—where pressure got loud and God met me there.
2️⃣ Simple frameworks and questions you can use the same day.
3️⃣ Real talk about faith, work, marriage, and the junk we hide.
4️⃣ Invites to go deeper—free clarity calls and group “forge sessions.”
Your move:
⏱️ Check your gauge right now—where’s the needle red-lining?
Drop the emoji that fits:
💼 work 🏠 family 🙏 faith 🤐 hidden habit
Let’s start forging.

Normally DIY is my therapy. Saturday… not so much.
I was putting a window in my wife’s shop when everything went sideways:
• Chainsaw hits hidden nails—chain pops off.
• Can’t find half my tools in the construction mess to fix the chain
• Bolts from chainsaw drop through a hole in the floor.
• Batteries die, screws fall...
I know you know what I'm talking about.
By disaster #12 I just stared—then laughed.
In that absurd moment I sensed God whisper, “See? You’re holding the rest of life this tight too.”
The laugh reset my pressure gauge.
The job still took three more hours (with more ridiculous setbacks), but the tension was gone.
**Lesson**: Sometimes the fastest way to break pressure is to listen to the still voice and let yourself laugh.
🤣 When’s the last time absurdity showed you you’re wound too tight?
