Yesterday, our Preschool, Kinder, and OSC groups had such a fun time at Fort Heritage Precinct! The kids enjoyed exploring, learning about the life of a Mountie, and experiencing something a little different from our usual day at the centre. Lots of smiles, curious questions, and happy memories! 😊

Kinders w& OSC Fire Station Visit

Our Kinder and OSC children had a wonderful time visiting the Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department! The children loved exploring the fire truck, seeing the firefighters’ equipment up close, and learning important fire safety tips.

Thank you to the amazing firefighters for welcoming us and making the visit so fun and educational. We appreciate everything you do to keep our community safe!

It was a day full of learning, excitement, and happy memories. ❤️🚒

Our Toddlers have been busy exploring, creating, and having so much fun! They started the week, by making bright and cheerful watermelon crafts , enjoyed a hands-on car wash sensory activity, and explored our sensory walking pathways, where they practiced balance, coordination, and discovered different textures.

Every activity was filled with smiles, curiosity, and opportunities to learn through play. We love watching our toddlers grow in confidence, build new skills, and make wonderful memories.

For the World Ice cream day Lil Pre made a homemade ice cream using milk, sugar, vanilla, and heavy cream. The children had so much fun shaking the bags of ice until the mixture turned into delicious ice cream!

They also got creative with fluffy ice cream puff painting using shaving cream, food coloring, and white glue. It was a fun-filled day of hands-on learning, creativity, and sweet memories

Fire Truck Visit 🚒

Last July 6th, our West View children had an exciting visit from the Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department! The firefighters showed us their fire truck, explained the equipment they use, and shared important fire safety tips in a fun and engaging way.

One of the highlights was watching a firefighter put on their full protective gear, helping the children understand that even though firefighters may look different during an emergency, they are there to help and keep everyone safe.

A huge thank you to the Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department for taking the time to visit us and make this experience so memorable. Thank you for inspiring our children and showing them what it means to be everyday heroes.

Yesterday’s Adventure at Fort Heritage Precinct! 🏡🚜

Yesterday, our West View children had such a wonderful time at Fort Heritage Precinct! It was a day full of exploring, learning, and making memories together.

The children toured the historic village, visited the church, courthouse, blacksmith shop, and heritage homes, met some friendly farm animals, took part in hands-on activities, and even experienced what it was like to learn in a one-room schoolhouse. It was amazing to see their curiosity and excitement as they explored and got a closer look at artifacts that tell the story of life long ago.

We ended the day with a yummy ice cream treat and lots of smiles before heading back to the daycare. 🍦😊

As we get ready to celebrate Canada Day tomorrow, we want to wish all of our wonderful families a fun, safe, and happy day with your loved ones.

Today, our children had so much fun waving their Canadian flags, sharing smiles, and celebrating the country we are proud to call home. It was wonderful to see their excitement and joy throughout the day.

What an unforgettable experience at West View Daycare! Our children had the incredible opportunity to learn from renowned cartoonist Gerry Rasmussen, who shared his passion for art and storytelling through a fun, hands-on cartoon workshop. Watching the children laugh, create, and bring their imaginations to life was truly inspiring.
