Thank You for bringing our OLR teachers together for a new school year. Bless them with wisdom, patience, courage, and joyful hearts as they guide and inspire all of our students.

Bless our teachers with strength for each day and a spirit of joy as they share their gifts with their students. May our OLR school community be a place where faith comes alive through kindness, compassion, courage, and love.

May we always strive to live like a saint, bringing Christ’s light to those around us. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary—the beautiful mystery of a Mother who, at the end of her earthly journey, was taken body and soul into the glory of Heaven.

Mary reminds us that our journey does not end here. Her yes to God became a life of love, surrender, and unwavering faith—and now, she stands in Heaven as a sign of the promise awaiting all who place their trust in Him.

May we learn from her to say yes even when the road is uncertain, to remain faithful even when the heart is weary, and to keep our eyes fixed on Heaven.

Mary, assumed into Heaven, pray for us.

Registration is open for the new Sacramental Preparation cohort at St. Paul Parish and St. John the Baptist Parish.

Families interested in preparing their children to receive the Sacraments are encouraged to register before August 31, 2026.
