~Book Launch Assembly~
Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to welcome Canadian author Sigmund Brouwer to our school. He shared his stories, expertise, and helpful tips on how to write a book 📖 Our students put their creativity to work and wrote their very own short stories to have them published by Mr. Brouwer. Today they recieved their anthologies!
A huge thank you to Sigmund Brouwer for inspiring our students to become authors and believe in the power of their own stories 📚

A special thank you to Elder Patrick and Mr. Tallow for taking the time to spend the day at W.A. Day.
Students and staff enjoyed listening to stories and tipi teachings. It was an enriching day of learning and connection for our school community 🧡 A huge shout-out to Mr. Zoeteman (and his dog) for staying in the tipi for two nights to keep our traditions and space safe. We appreciate your time and dedication!

This week, our students practiced important bus evacuation procedures. These drills help students understand how to stay calm, follow directions, and exit the bus safely in an emergency. A big thank-you to the 'Safely on Board' team and our staff for helping keep our students safe!
