Safety Reminder: Lock Your Vehicle
On behalf of the Fort Macleod RCMP Detachment, we remind residents to take extra precautions following an increase in thefts from vehicles.

Please remember to:
• Lock up your vehicle and residence every time, even if you are only away for a few minutes.
• Remove valuables, electronics and other items from your vehicle.
• Keep your vehicle parked in a well-lit area when possible.
• Remove the garage door opener from your vehicle when parked at home.
• Report suspicious activity to the RCMP.

If you see suspicious activity or a crime in progress, call 911. For non-emergency police matters, contact the Fort Macleod RCMP Detachment at 403-553-4406.

Take a moment to lock up. A locked vehicle can be enough to prevent a crime of opportunity.
