Ms. Armstrong's Grade 2 class has been watching the life cycle of a butterfly! They received live caterpillars and provided them with food and shelter. The students were then able to watch almost the entire life cycle, from larva to chrysalis to butterfly. Yesterday, they finally released the butterflies! They did a great job caring for and watching the caterpillars grow.

Our second annual RBI Day took place at the baseball diamonds on Monday, and it was a fantastic success! ⚾⚾

All of our athletes demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, encouraged one another, and played their hardest throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and how much their baseball skills have grown this year.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Jays Care Foundation for their generous funding, as well as for providing equipment, shirts, hats, and helping make our fun day such a success. We’ll be cheering on the Blue Jays all summer long—Go Jays Go!

We would also like to thank Coeur Mining for their funding support, H2O 2GO for supplying water coolers to keep our athletes hydrated, and The Place Fine Foods for donating fruit trays that provided some extra nourishment throughout the day.

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Evans, Mrs. McMahon, and Mrs. Ducharme for joining us once again to help supervise and cheer on our teams. We would also like to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Chown for being an amazing pitcher for our athletes. We are so grateful for all of your support.

Finally, thank you to Robert Moore School for helping organize this fun competition, playing some great baseball, and demonstrating exceptional sportsmanship throughout the day.

We are thankful for another wonderful baseball season and look forward to welcoming even more athletes and celebrating even more skill growth next year.

Have a great summer!

Ms. Sweigard and Mrs. Monahan
