Yesterday was the last day of school for Mason. It was quite the year. He worked hard to get caught up on reading and got a readers award! So proud.

Pretty proud of this lil hockey dude. Even though it wasn’t much of a season, he made the best of it!

The greatest compliment I can get is a referral. But a close second is a Google Review!

Thank you to everyone who has given one already. If you haven’t and want to share some love, Google, Vanta Group and click on Reviews on right hand side. Then voila! Away you go. Keep it short and sweet. Much love everyone!

Self employed and looking for affordable Health and Dental coverage? A way to write off 💯 of your family’s Health and Dental claims through your company? I CAN DO THAT!!!

A lot of my clients will initially look to Blue Cross, Manulife, Sun Life etc. But there’s a better way to do it.

A Cost Plus Plan or a Private Health Services Plan through Strive Insure (our own in house insurance company meant for small businesses).

Wondering if you’d be a good fit? I can sort it out for you.

I really feel bad saying this. And perhaps I’m only saying it because I’m rested. But here goes...

2020 was one of my best years of my career! There have been many financial impacts to my business owners and my families. And I’ve been there every step of the way to help them through. Am I utterly exhausted? Hell ya! Do I feel fulfilled? Hell effin ya! I had come back from maternity leave early (part time), when Jude was only 8 months old. And then full time March 3rd. And then boom, two weeks later, shutdown. I hit the ground running. And I’m still reeling from the fact that 2020 is over. That was the fastest year of my life. Hands down. But even though it went by in a flash. I still accomplished so much and with most of my sanity left in tact.

However, our family life was TOUGH! This pandemic has impacted so many. But I envy those without little kids. We rely so much on play dates and outings with other friends with littles. Our boys thrive with social interaction. And it’s a hell of a lot easier on mommy and daddy! But the pandemic forced us to rely on what we had in our home and with each other. We are still trying to figure that out. I’ve also seen a bond grow so strong between Mason and Jude. So we are holding on to that. Also, Marley lived his best life with mommy working from home a lot.

Do I hate 2020? Not entirely. Did I break on multiple occasions? Yep. Do I yearn for our normal lives? Ones where I can freely see other humans in person (extroverts died slowly this year). A life where I can shake hands and give hugs. A life where we can travel. A life where my oldest son can sing in school and not get headaches from wearing a mask. One where youngest son can actually grow up to learn what a handshake is. A life where my widowed 85yo grandma doesn’t have to be isolated in her home alone. A life where our ill family members can watch the boys grow. A life where my disabled sister doesn’t lose all her supports/respite. A life where we can freely eat out at all our fav restaurants. A life where we aren’t all worried about a looming economic collapse and mental health crisis. Do I hate all that 2020 has taken away from us? F**k yes!!!Cont’d in comments
