Did you know? Coneflowers come in all colours! The name Echinacea comes from the Greek word for hedgehog, echinos, which refers to the prickly cone at the centre of the flower.

They are also a useful perennial you can plant! They need full sun and average water, working well in patio containers, along sunny borders, or in mass plantings. On top of being deer resistant, they attract wildlife like butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden.
