A huge thank you to Amanda Balez, one of the amazing parents at our school, for spending time cleaning up and raking our garden boxes! 🌱🍃

Because of her hard work, the boxes are now ready for our classrooms to start planting and growing this season. We truly appreciate her kindness, generosity, and support for our school community. Thank you, Amanda!

Chicks-a-Palooza 🐥 🩷✨

MAC Kinder Friends celebrated Chicks-a-Palooza with parents, grandparents and siblings. The Kinder Friends were so proud to share their outstanding learning about chick hatching, embryo development, the needs of baby chicks, and their chick adoption certificates and personal chick baby booklets.

The Kinder Friends were outstanding “Chick Parents”They provided food, water and shelter, kept their chicks clean, read to their chicks and taught them tricks, and most importantly showered them with love.

Although it was difficult to say goodbye to our chicks and send them off to their new farm home to continue growing, it was a very rewarding experience.

💖 Big shout out to Rocky Bar Ranch & Roundup Butcher Shop for donating specimens to support our recent Optics & Vision eye dissection lab!

Learning from real specimens is such a privilege. There’s no better way to really understand the eye’s internal structures and complexity.

Kudos to all our young scientists for engaging in the experience and applying their learning to identify structures like the cornea, lens, retina and optic nerve.
