Today, our students took part in the first fire drill of the school year as part of Fire Prevention Week.

Thank you to the Enchant Fire Department for making time to visit our school and help our students learn about fire safety and your important role in our community. We appreciate all you do to keep us safe!

Eddie and the crew had beautiful weather for the Terry Fox run today. A big shout out to the Enchant Fire department for doing traffic control and the parents who came out to walk along with the students and staff. As of run time today we had gathered $1999 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Thank you to everyone who donated to help us reach and surpass our goal again this year.

What a great night of volleyball for our Eagles. They struggled a bit in the first match against Taber Christian losing in 2 sets but with a little pep talk they bounced back to defeat Foremost in the third set of their second match. Thank you to our cheering squad who came to watch. The kids said they did better once they heard you cheering them on. Keep on soaring Eagles!

Our house cup challenges have begun! Thursday’s game was rock paper scissor, and each team got to count how many necklaces they had at the end of the round to add to their house points. It was so much fun to hear the excitement and watch the kids’s faces as they challenged and cheered each other on. Keep soaring Eagles!

Though they fought hard and the games were close we didn’t come away with the win. On the up side it is so nice to see the eagles take to the court again after several years of no Jr High volleyball. Great job team. Here we definitely soar!!
