AUGUST 2026 BABIES 🌸

Two babies. Two stories filled with patience, trust, and surrender.

One mama waited so patiently, trusting in the Lord and His timing—and then when baby decided it was time, there was absolutely no hesitation. A swift, powerful home water birth and the sweetest reward for all that waiting.

My other was a beautiful repeat client who finally got to meet her baby girl after an incredibly difficult pregnancy. She had to pivot her birth plans more than once, and watching her continually adapt, advocate for herself, and keep moving forward with strength was incredible.

Sometimes strength in birth looks like power. Sometimes it looks like waiting, surrendering, changing course, and trusting when you can’t see how the story will unfold.

So proud of both of these women. 🤍

JULY 2026 BABIES ☀️

Two babies. Same birthday. Two very different, very powerful stories.

The first was a hard-fought VBAC. This mama faced circumstances that could have easily discouraged her, yet the joy and determination she carried through it all was incredible to witness. She knew what she wanted, she used her voice, she kept going—and she got her VBAC. I am so, so proud of her.

And apparently July 31 wasn’t finished with me yet…

On my way home from that birth, one of my beautiful repeat clients messaged that her water had broken. Things went fast and furious from there, and they headed to the hospital just in time—saving Dad from unexpectedly adding “baby catcher” to his résumé. 😂 Baby arrived shortly after!

Two strong women. Two beautiful reminders that birth can ask very different things of us—sometimes perseverance and endurance, and sometimes the ability to move VERY quickly.

What a way to close out July. 💛

JUNE 2026 BABIES 🌼

Four beautiful births. Four incredible women. Four reminders that birth is as much about the heart and mind as it is about the body.

This month brought a redemptive VBAC, a beautiful second VBAC for one of my repeat clients, a peaceful home birth, and an incredible precipitous breech vaginal birth.

On paper, these births couldn’t have looked more different. But they all shared the same foundation.

These women prepared. They trusted. They surrendered. They created environments where they felt safe, heard, and supported. And when birth asked them to lean in, they did.

Every month I leave birth feeling even more convinced that our environment matters. Our mindset matters. Feeling informed and supported matters. When women are given the space to trust the design of their bodies, incredible things happen.

What an honor it is to witness these stories unfold. 💛

MAY 2026 BABIES 🌷

Four baby girls. Four beautiful birth stories.

This month brought first births, second births, and fourth births—and while every journey looked different, they all had one thing in common: strong women who prepared well, trusted deeply, and made incredible decisions along the way.

Birth isn’t about following a perfect script. It’s about meeting each twist and turn with confidence, wisdom, and the ability to adapt when needed. These mamas did exactly that.

Whether it was a hospital room, a birth centre, or a home birth pool, each baby arrived surrounded by love, support, and a mother who showed up with courage.

What an honor it is to witness women step into their strength and welcome their babies with such grace. 💛

APRIL 2026 BABIES 🌸

Two beautiful home births.
Two incredibly strong, determined mamas.

Both of these labours tested their perseverance—the kind of deep, mental and physical strength that birth sometimes calls us into. And both women met it head-on… steady, grounded, and unwavering.

This is what birth looks like when you stay in it. When you trust. When you keep going.

FEBRUARY 2026 BABIES 🤍

Two beautiful, unmedicated births this month—both mamas fully trusting the physiology of their bodies. Spontaneous labor, instinctive pushing, and the kind of quiet strength that reminds you how powerful birth truly is.

Watching women lean into what their bodies were designed to do never gets old. These were calm, grounded, incredibly strong births—and such an honor to witness.

Now we wait… one more February baby is still on the way and could arrive any day. 💛

JANUARY 2026 BABIES ❄️

This year kicked off with a fast and furious home birth—mama barely had time to blink before her baby was in her arms. Absolute powerhouse energy.

The other two births were powerful in a different way. Both mamas poured everything they had into pursuing a physiological birth, holding tightly to their hopes, preparing deeply, and showing up with courage. And while their babies had different plans, these women made every decision with clarity and strength. Their births didn’t follow the script, but their peace and power never left the room.

Birth isn’t about how it looks—it’s about how it’s owned.
And these three owned it. 💛

2025 — by the numbers 🤍

But also… by the tears, the prayers, the long nights, the hand-holding, the whispered “you’re doing it,” the trust, the pivots, the strength I witnessed up close.

52 births.
Homes, birth centres, hospitals.
Water, land, fast, long, smooth, messy.
VBACs. VBAC2Cs. A twin VBAC 🤍
Breech births. Transfers. Unexpected turns.
Tiny babies. Big babies. Early babies. Post-dates babies.

463 hours of support.
28 hours straight with one family.
So many first-time moms becoming mothers.
So many families trusting me in their most vulnerable moments.

Not every birth went to plan — but every birth was held.
With information. With advocacy. With calm. With respect.

This work humbles me every single year.
It stretches me. Grounds me. Reminds me why I said yes to this calling seven years ago.

Fearfully & wonderfully made — every baby, every mother, every story.

To my 2025 families: thank you for letting me walk into your birth spaces. It is never lost on me what an honour that is.
