The Undergraduate Cell Biology Students’ Association is pleased to invite you to our Undergraduate Research Seminar Night event. The event is a virtual seminar that aims to provide undergraduate students with information regarding contacting professors for summer research and research courses. Guest presenters will include Dr. Andrew Simmonds (Dept. of Cell Biology) and Dr. Sarah Hughes (Dept. of Medical Genetics).

This event will be on Nov 22, 2021, from 6 PM - 7:30 PM via Zoom.

9:00-10:00am: Medical Case Study, led by Dr. Gary Eitzen

10:00-11:30am: Oncology Case Competition, led by Jessica Bennett and judged by Faculty from the Department of Oncology

12:00-1:00pm: Keynote by guest speaker Dr. Samara Reck-Peterson from the University of California, San Diego, “Microtubule-Based Transport in Health and Disease”

3:00-5:00pm: Student research presentations, judged by Faculty from the Department of Cell Biology

7:00-8:00pm: Evening Social
