There is the coolest little creek at the lake. With all the rain we had this year this is the fullest & fastest I've seen it. Some summers it's dry! My youngest loves water & despite the warning she had to check for herself to see how deep the creek was. Poor kid her boots got filled with water when I pulled her out. Oops.

September is childhood cancer awareness month. 🎗

Continued research into childhood cancers is always needed. The amount of medication that has to be pumped into their little bodies is astronomical. The list of side effects that show up acutely, chronically, or in the future can be very impactful.

The hope is that more research will allow for treatments that are gentler but very effective.
