Yesterday grades 3 and 6 did some creating during buddy time.

Yesterday our grade 2 class performed at our school assembly. They were absolutely amazing!

Stop by the gym at Celebration of Learning on Thursday night. Your child can lead you through the ABC safety golf swing check. Thanks to First Tee for the equipment.

These tasty cakes were created by our grade 3 students. They look good enough to eat!

Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 got to spend some time with the Edmonton Riverhawks baseball team. Thanks to all the volunteers who joined our students for these field trips. Thank you Mrs. Bradford for organizing this great experience. Thank you for having us. It was so much fun!

This week we had the pleasure of having Chandell Popik of Under the Sun Glass studio as our artist in residence. She taught grades K-6 how to create with glass. It was so fun and our students loved it. We can’t wait to see all our blooming glass flowers on display at Virginia Park School!

Today grades 4-6 attended Leaps and Bounds at Victoria School of the Arts. The dance performances were incredible and our students were a great audience.

It’s the year of the horse! These incredible horse paintings were created by the grade 4 class.

Virginia Park Has Talent was a showcase of the different interests and exceptional skills our students have. Congratulations to everyone who participated. You are incredible!

Last Friday our grade 6 student council planned and hosted our school’s first ever Virginia Park Has Talent. There were singers, dancers, balloon artists, pianists, gymnasts, comedians and so many great performers. Our students really do have so much talent!

Our VP teachers took in Teachers Convention the past two days. We’re coming back with amazing things to share with our students.
