Bring the BEACH back!
I 💙 the idea of working out on the beach 🏋️‍♀️, playing in the sand 🐚, accidentally flushing my sinuses with sea water 👃, splashing in the surf 🌊, walking the beach at sunrise and feeling the sun kiss my skin ☀️.

So if I can’t be there to experience it, then creating a daily mini trip to the surf, sand and sun is better than moping around waiting for summer.

What do I love about my classes? The FEELING of POWER ⚡️while I’m in it and when I’ve slayed it!

Nothing says “I can tackle hard things in life” 👊 like a wicked workout.

On days when I don’t have the drive, the energy, confidence or strength to handle my regular life stuff, a 30-45 min sweat fest can totally change my mindset and help reframe the rest of my day. It’s funny how using energy CREATES more energy. 🔥

I give props to my that give me a reason to show up and invest in myself and them. We create a community of support and celebration.

Want a quick and effective that you can do on your lunch break?

Check out these 4 exercises that will help you tighten up the jingle 🔔 in your jangle.

1. Squat
2. Split Squat
3. Hip Trust or Bridge
4. Crouch

Choose weights that are challenging yet allow you controlled, safe movement in optimal alignment and posture.

Complete this as a circuit, each movement 30-45 seconds with just enough time to transition in between. Take a 1-2 min rest after completing all 4. Repeat 2-4 times.

Quick Tips for women in perimenopause and menopause:

Because your hormones are in flux and then changing completely, your workouts need to change to help you stabilize your hormones, maintain your muscle mass, keep fat from settling around your middle and manage your emotions.

1. Do more resistance training workouts and reduce your cardio - you need to keep (and build as much lean muscle tissue as possible).

2. Consume optimal protein amounts for your body. This can be combined in vegetable, animal or supplemental forms.

3. Sleep and recovery are vital for your body to repair and maintain your tissues and body systems. Shoot for 8 hours of sleep as often as possible.

4. Implement stress management strategies and plan activities that enhance your wellbeing like hobbies and socializing.

5. Consult with your health care professionals including your physicians, fitness professionals and wellness consultants to create a plan to keep you focused, healthy and happy thru this turbulent season of life.
