St John's Children Charity wants to help orphans living in poverty but we can't do it ourselves; we need your help! St John's Children needs your help!
St John's Children is a non-profit charity and is a joint initiative with St John's Institute in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. We are currently supporting two orphanages; first in the Kharkiv Oblast region of Ukraine which cares for just under 50 school age children 6-16 years of age and the second in the Ivano-Frankisk Oblast region home to 135 severely disabled children/adults, between the ages of
4-35. We ship regularly, a variety of items such as: gently used footwear & clothing, personal hygiene items, socks & underwear and gifts. We also fund medications 3-4 times per year, school supplies, cleaning products, respiratory inhalers, water filtration products and support excursions for the children. Our goal, by your prayers, is to collect donations to fund dental work, a complete overhaul of their heating system, a playground and additional classroom space.
