International and Heritage Languages Association
Residing on Treaty 6 since 1977, IHLA has been an organization dedicated to promoting heritage and second language education in Alberta.
We are proud to support local community schools. The International and Heritage Languages Association acknowledges that we reside and work on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting ground and travelling route for the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Métis, Dene and Nakota Sioux; including many other Indigenous Nations, and Inuit who have been a part of this land since time immemorial.
