Step by Step Tutoring Dave and Jody are retired teachers who have worked over 20 years teaching young children in the classroom. I also like to bike, kayak, hike and shop!

We have used all that we have learned to create a tutoring service to help children grow in their abilities and skills. I am a Christian who loves to spend time in devotions, reading and exploring creation. I have a passion to teach children how to read and write in lots of fun ways. I believe every child can read and write since each person has their own special story.

Dave loves to help students succeed at school. When he tutors, students gain confidence and improvement in English and math skills. Dave is known for his ability to breakdown skills and concepts in ways that students can understand and experience success. He does it in such a way that helps students learn quickly and efficiently. He has helped students this past year in the junior elementary grades and early high school years to improve their marks and to be excited about what they have accomplished.
