Tutor Grade 3 - 8

08/02/2026

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer—July has certainly flown by! I am now opening spots for home-based tutoring for the upcoming school year. To ensure I can give my full attention to each student, I am limiting my availability to one student per night on weekdays, though I am happy to accommodate weekend sessions as well.

If you are looking for academic support, please feel free to send me a message! I offer a free initial session, which serves as both an assessment and a chance for us to build a relationship. My rate is $50 per hour. I tailor my sessions to align with your child's classroom pace and follow the Alberta curriculum. Whether you need help catching up, strengthening foundational skills, or developing a completely personalized learning plan, I am here to help.

In addition to core school subjects, I also offer Mandarin instruction if you are interested in having your child learn to read and write the language. My sessions are built on games and meaningful repetition to ensure learning is engaging and effective.

If you are interested, please contact me via Facebook message or email me at [email protected].

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Learning Through Play:

Playing games is not just playing. In my sessions, we turn knowledge into games—so students can explore, think, and discover what they already know in a fun and exciting way.

The more fun we have during tutoring, the more your child will remember when they return to school.

It becomes a treasure in the brain—helping turn learning into long-term memory and they will love learning, even though they think they don't think they love learning.

Learning can be fun, meaningful, and unforgettable!

Hi! I’m originally from Taiwan and speak both English and Mandarin. I love making learning fun and enjoyable—because when students are having fun, they learn better!

I’m a certified teacher with over 5 years of experience working with students of different ages, mainly in Math. I’ve worked as both a classroom teacher and an after-school tutor.

I offer after-school tutoring on weekdays, and weekend babysitting can be discussed if needed.

Interested in learning Mandarin too? Let me know—I’d love to help!
