Hi! 👋 I got a few messages asking if I’ll be teaching this year, unfortunately I will not be as I have other priorities. I started Snowboard Lessons 5 years ago to help those that refused to give their children the Covid shot an option as the local ski hills would not allow them to snowboard. This year Alberta has a very good chance at independence and I’ll be helping the Alberta Prosperity Project collect signatures to help Alberta separate, I believe that is where God’s purpose is for me today. If you want to learn more about the advantages of Alberta Independence there is a lot of information out there, I encourage everyone to understand what the benefits your family, especially your children what an Independent Alberta will bring them as they grow older.

Snowboard Lessons has been able to provide free lessons this year thanks to generous sponsors! This morning one of our students had her 2nd lesson and another her first! This is the result of 3 hours of lessons so far, safely and on her own getting down the hill! 🏂
Due to the extreme weather this weekend all lessons will be cancelled

Crazy that our last post was January 7th of this past year when we were waiting for snow that never came! However, 2024/25 is a new season and with the recent snow it’s a good start so we’ll be providing snowboard lessons again this year! Website is updated so you can book your lessons!
Also, we are doing a Sponsor-a-Snowboarder fundraiser where for every $100 donated one teenager will learn to snowboard for free! Currently we raised $300 so three students will learn for free so far! This will be offered to families that may not be able to afford Christmas gifts this year. If you would like to donate you can click under “Shop” at www.snowboardlessons.ca and donate in either $25, $50, or $100 dominations.
Also, if you have any snowboard equipment that you would like to donate we would love to have it to be able to provide free rentals with our lessons. We are still committed to making this sport as affordable as possible with high quality instruction.

Hey! Been a while! I have been receiving messages and emails about when we’ll start the season, but we are waiting for snow as the hill we use still has grass in it ☹️ hopefully sometime this month!
Just had our last snowboard lesson for the season this afternoon! Congrats to all students on your success! We’re working on an Early Bird package in September that will continue to provide affordable snowboarding options! 🏂
Safwan is a busy guy, but the great thing is that Snowboard Lessons is super flexible and works around your schedule! Safwan has been working on his heel edge and today we began working on his toe edge. After today’s 2 hour lesson Safwan is now able to get down the hill with toe edge zig-zag 🏂 Great work Safwan! 🙌
Petter took advantage of our New Years Resolution package and just had this first lesson this afternoon. One of my previous students recommended Snowboard Lessons to him (thank you! 🙌)! He has never been on a snowboard before and this video is of him after 2 hours already able to heel edge see-saw down a hill. That’s what Snowboard Lessons can do for you with our high quality instructions! 🏂
