Sometimes, transformation looks like a child standing in front of an audience, and finding the courage to speak—even when they never believed they could do it. ❤️
At The Learners Pathway’s 2026 Red Carpet Book Showcase, our first-time authors walked the red carpet and proudly presented the books they had written and published. For some of these children, the journey was much bigger than writing a book. They began without believing that they could confidently express themselves in front of others. Seeing them stand there, speak about their own creations, and receive appreciation from the audience was a very big accomplishment.
Our elementary speakers also shared their ideas, memories and experiences. For many of them, this was their first time speaking in front of an audience.
One mother later shared something with me that truly stayed in my heart. Her daughter had always been so reserved that she would often feel too shy even to greet someone visiting their home. But that day, her mother watched her stand in front of nearly 40 people and express herself with confidence. She was moved, she was proud—and honestly, so was I.
This is exactly why children need platforms like this.
Confidence is not built simply by telling a child to “be confident.” It develops when we give them a safe space, a meaningful opportunity, a real audience and people who are willing to listen, encourage and applaud.
To every child who participated: you did not just present a book, an idea or a memory. You proved something to yourself—and that is the accomplishment I am most proud of. ✨

The 2026 Red Carpet Book Showcase was not only a celebration of what these children created. It was a celebration of who they are becoming.
