Little hands, big discoveries 💛🌿

Our little explorers enjoyed a beautiful outdoor walk by the water, observing ducks, sharing smiles, and learning together. Moments like these help build friendships, spark curiosity and support healthy growth in every way.

At Giggles Dayhome, we believe learning happens best through play, nature, and connection 🌼✨

Today, we made a special card for one of our dayhome mom who is in the hospital. The little one misses her so much, so we decided to send lots of love, hugs, and wishes for a speedy recovery. 💕

Today, we’re reading “Believe In Yourself,” beautifully read by one of our wonderful little girls.

Proud moment ❤️ This little 4-year-old girl is doing an amazing job with her reading and it is truly wonderful to see her confidence and love for learning grow every day 🚀💫🎉. I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to her parents, grandma and tata for their constant support, encouragement and trust in her learning journey.

Your belief in my dayhome philosophy of learning through play makes a big difference. I understand that during interviews some families may feel that children should be made to sit and focus on ABCs and 123s in a more structured way. However, in early childhood, this approach is not always the most beneficial. Every child is unique with their own interests, pace, and style of learning. When children are given the freedom to explore, play, and learn in ways that interest them, they naturally develop strong skills and a love for learning. Here, we support each child based on their individual interests and strengths, helping them grow with confidence, joy, and curiosity.

I’m so proud to share that all the children are doing very well with their learning skills. Even more wonderful is how helpful and respectful they are toward one another. It truly means a lot to see not only their academic growth but also the values they are learning along the way. While learning the school syllabus is important, becoming a kind and respectful person in real life matters just as much. I truly appreciate all the hardworking parents for their dedication and support it makes a big difference in the children’s lives 🌟💕🎈.

These pictures beautifully shows early childhood development through play-based learning.

A young children is actively engaged in building with large colorful blocks, which supports fine motor skills as they grasp, stack, and balance each piece. The careful placement of blocks also reflects developing hand eye coordination and problem-solving skills, as the children learns how to keep the structure stable.

The presence of another child building nearby highlights social development. Even if they are working on separate structures, they are learning important skills like sharing space, observing others, and gaining inspiration from peer play. This kind of interaction builds early communication and cooperation skills.

Cognitively, block play encourages creativity and imagination, as children explore different ways to build. It also introduces early concepts of math and science, such as size, shape, balance, and cause and effect (e.g., what happens when the tower falls).

The environment with books and a cozy play area supports a learning through play philosophy, where children feel safe, curious, and motivated to explore.

Overall, this moment captures how simple play activities nurture physical, cognitive, and social emotional development all at once.
