Westpark Home and School

Westpark’s Home & School is a group of dedicated parent volunteers whose main objective is to enhance the children’s educational and learning environment

Westpark Elementary’s Home and School is a not-for-profit association comprised of a group of dedicated parent volunteers working in collaboration with the school’s administrative body and its teachers towards one common goal: Enhancing our children’s educational experience and learning environment! We organize the following fundraising events:
• Pizza lunches
• Chocolate bar sales
• Raffles
• Fre

nch and English Book fairs
• Uniform sales
• School supply sales
• Other: auctions, your suggestions are welcome

These fundraisers enable Home and School to purchase and/or fund resources needed within the school including:
• School materials (for the class, the gym, music room, computer room, library and the school in general)
• Theatrical & cultural performances
• Carnivals for the students
• Teacher appreciation week
• Special programs (i.e. anti-bullying)
• Technology (i.e. smart boards)

We are always looking for volunteers and helping hands. Our committee meets once a month on the third Tuesday of every month in the teacher’s lounge. These meetings give our volunteers an opportunity to discuss upcoming fundraisers and allocation of funds.

Voting will take place during the meeting.

*Please note that only paying members are eligible to vote; however, you are still welcome to join if you are not yet a member.

Whether you have previous experience or are simply interested in contributing your time and ideas, we encourage you to put your name forward. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference in the experiences we create for our students.
