A heartfelt congratulations to Devonna Klaasen on being elected as Trustee.
Campaigns come and go, but community remains — and I’m proud to be part of one that cares so deeply about its future.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote, to share your ideas, and to remind me how much good there is in our town.
Let’s keep building together.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had great conversations with parents, teachers, and students about what matters most in education — from smaller class sizes to stronger communication and supporting mental health. I’m running to be a voice for you — and to work together for student and family success. Find out more about me here: https://bit.ly/3IFV7eR

Obviously, resolving the labour disruption would be at the top of everyone’s list. No matter where you stand, one thing is clear — education matters deeply to all of us. What else do you think needs to change to better support students, school staff, and families? Your perspective matters, and I would like to hear from you. I am running for the Black Gold School Board because I believe listening and working together are the first steps toward real solutions. Please share your thoughts below, or join me on my next ZOOM Q&A on Thursday, October 9, at 7 pm. https://bit.ly/3IFV7eR
