As we prepare for our upcoming SCC elections, we invite you to consider submitting a nomination to join the formal structure of the Dalmeny High School Community Council.
Serving on the SCC is a meaningful way to:
*Support student learning and well-being
*Strengthen the partnership between home, school
*Provide input on school priorities, initiatives, and activities
*Help shape a positive school experience for all families

SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR 2026/27!
The 2026/27 school year calendar is now posted! The calendar was approved by the Prairie Spirit Board of Education + meets Ministry of Education requirements.

Our regular SCC meeting was held on March 17, 2026.
At the meeting, we received the school report on staffing, goal progress, and current activities. The SCC had a particular interest in the student retention and school promotion goals. The SCC was also excited to learn that DHS received a grant to purchase a 3D printer. Members toured the newly renovated Home Economics room.
The SCC confirmed planning details for the upcoming parent‑teacher conferences on April 23 and finalized plans to host a volunteer appreciation supper for community members who have generously dedicated their time to supporting the school and its activities. This will be an invitation‑only event held in late May.
The SCC also confirmed that formal elections for the 2026–27 year will take place on May 5. Our AGM and regular meeting will also be held on that date.
