On Tuesday August 25, the SCC held it's first meeting of the school year. Topics for the meeting included passing our annual meeting schedule, annual budget, and annual plan. In addition, we received the school report from the DHS Principal Ron Sigstad. In the report we received an update on staffing, courses offered, changes to the school day (school start and finish times have changed), participation in a pilot program around restorative practice, goals, enrolment, and dates of planned events. Our next meeting will take place on October 13, 2026 at 7pm.
