Hi everyone! 🥰

We just wanted to take a moment to share a bit about who we are and what we’re working toward! Deep Roots & Beautiful Blooms is a private, non-licensed home daycare. This means we’re able to offer more flexibility to families when it comes to care, routines, and learning experiences. 💕 However, it also means we don’t qualify for government grants or funding—every improvement we make comes straight from the heart… and our own pockets.

That’s why, over the next few months, we’ll be hosting a variety of fun fundraisers to help us grow into the daycare of our dreams! 🌈

Some of our upcoming goals include:
🌿 A secure fence to keep our little ones safe
🚐 A larger vehicle for fun, educational field trips
🏃‍♀️ Quality outdoor play equipment
… and everything else that helps us create a joyful, nurturing, and inspiring space for the kiddos in our care. 💛

We are so grateful in advance for any and all support—whether it’s joining a fundraiser, spreading the word, or simply cheering us on. 🙏✨

And we want you to know: we’ll be giving back to the surrounding communities as a big thank you. Because this isn’t just a daycare—it’s a dream rooted in love, community, and growth. 🌱

I’ll be posting updates along the way, including how much we’ve raised and what we’ve purchased, so everyone knows exactly where the support is going. 💚

First off, Happy Easter to you all! Our celebrations already started and are far from finished! Last week we had an amazing week spent in Gesgapegiag with our families and it was truly a huge eye opener for me. I forgot how fast everyone grows and how much I miss our family there. Gesgapegiag is a huge part of us and I’m glad I got the reminder that I needed when I did🥰 We spent some of our most beautiful moments with my beautiful godson/nephew, my sister, niece, nephews and of course, my beautiful momma and bonus dad🥰 We also had the pleasure of hanging out with 2 of the most beautiful people that I have ever met, Kay and Chino🥰❤️ It was truly the best and exactly what our hearts needed🥰

Today we cooked up some egg shells that we were saving for our plants along with some egg water for a natural fertilizer🥰

Today we are learning multiples of 2 and skip counting by 2 by playing hop scotch. Once they go through, they write the pattern on the window! 🥰

The babies are learning number recognition And working on their balance while learning with their big sisters🥰
