We’re berry excited to showcase our latest Member Spotlight: Berry Patch Daycare!🍓 Owner and founder, Megan, has always had a passion for early childhood education. After completing her studies while raising her son, she knew one day she’d open a daycare of her own. When her daughter faced challenges finding the right fit in other programs, the timing just felt right, and Berry Patch Daycare was born. Since opening in 2023, Berry Patch has become a warm, welcoming place for families across Creston. With three bright and cheerful classrooms (the Strawberry Room, Blueberry Room, and Huckleberry Room), the daycare supports children from infancy to five years old. It’s also the only program in town offering dedicated infant/toddler care. What makes Berry Patch stand out is the deeply personal approach. Staff go above and beyond typical ratios so every child feels seen, safe, and supported. Learning is guided by each child’s own interests, whether that’s art, reading, outdoor play, or just a really good sprinkler day in the summer. From slip ’n slides and movie cuddle days to daily creative projects, it’s a place where fun and growth go hand in hand. Parents often say the connections built here feel more like family. Routines from home are echoed in the daycare to make kids comfortable, and a private parent Facebook group keeps families involved and updated with daily memories. The result? A nurturing space where children can thrive, learn, and grow, and families feel truly cared for. We are so excited to finally announce our grand opening of our Infant/Toddler space! We have been working endlessly to create this space for the Creston Community. 🎉

We have started with a slow launch of a few children but are licensed for 12 littles so if you’re not on the waitlist already I would recommend doing that by emailing us at [email protected]

We are so thrilled to have Haley and Elizabeth join our crew! Haley has been with us for two months and Elizabeth almost a month!

They are both energetic, caring, enthusiastic ECE’s who adore all children. They are absolutely amazing and we couldn’t ask for better teammates!

Out with the old in with the new!! We are so grateful for the grant we received from the Columbia Basin Trust! We got new furniture as well as a lot of educational Montessori toys! 🥰

My amazing co-workers and kids at the daycare surprised me today to celebrate an early 1st year anniversary for the company! Man they got me in tears this morning. Thank you Emily Zago for the amazing cookies and thank you Jessica Viola Kate Dewald Hadikin Libby Renee for your endless support!
