Before children can read and write, they need to understand shapes 🔺⚪🟦

At Momzi, shape recognition is woven into our day in ways that feel like pure play. Drawing on the easel. Building with blocks. Finding shapes in the room. Sorting shape puzzles.

Why does this matter? Because shape recognition is the foundation for spatial awareness, early geometry, and the visual skills your child will need for reading and writing. It all connects.

Every activity at Momzi has a purpose. Every game builds a skill. Every day your little one is growing in ways you might not even notice yet.

Labour Day fun at Momzi 👮👩👷👨

We made hats for police officer, doctor, worker, and chef, and drew pictures of a police officer, doctor, worker, and firefighter. We talked about each job and asked the kids which one they liked best 🚒✏😄

One of my favourite things about running Momzi Daycare is craft time. I plan each activity with purpose, always thinking about what little ones are learning while they create.

What you see in these photos is not just a cute art project. It's fine motor skills developing through cutting and gluing. It's focus and patience growing with every brushstroke. It's confidence blooming when a child holds up their finished piece and beams with pride.

I keep every piece of artwork displayed with care, because in my home, every child's creation matters.
This is what a day at Momzi looks like. Creative, intentional, and full of love. 💕

What a beautiful, heartfelt day we had with our amazing parents 💛✨

Writing this with so many mixed emotions… I am beyond happy for Sammy and Abbos as they take this big next step into kindergarten, but I have to admit, we are going to miss them so much. These two little ones have left such a special place in Momzi’s heart.

Wishing them a journey full of learning, joy, and endless success 🌟

Ocean sensory play today! 🌊 Our little ones loved pouring and scooping water between containers, exploring water beads, seashells, and sea creatures with their hands. So much focus, curiosity, and fun in every scoop!
