Blackfoot Indigenous-led session: Hear directly from Dr. Manyguns regarding her newest book she wrote sinăăkssin.
Written in lowercase as a powerful act of humility and a refusal to conform to colonial writing forms, this work presents a grounded approach to Indigenous-led research methodologies.
Learn about the development of sinăăkssin, the importance of Indigenous-led communication tools, and how these methodologies can help correct present-day misalignments between culture and community life.

Returning to the Land: Buffalo Hide Tanning and Cultural Healing 🦬
Join us for a day of learning and connection at Weaver Heritage Park in Lloydminster, Treaty 6 territory. We are grateful to have Dr. Linda Manyguns joining us to share stories and teachings.
We will practice buffalo traditional hide preservation methods rooted in Indigenous knowledge systems.
This is a full day of hands on work to help us reconnect with the land.
When: Saturday, July 18, 10 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.

Are you looking to bring Indigenous Inuit or Metis authentic, hands on land-based learning to your not for profit, Indigenous or non Indigenous organization, school, university, or youth camps
Founded by Brooklyn, Kelly Gordon, Co facilitating with Blackfoot Elder Larry Mistakenchief learning traditional tanning on deer, elk and buffalo hides, our mobile workshops are co-facilitated by Elders to help community, students and professionals build a deeper relationship with the land and traditional knowledge.
