Year end planning day meeting! Our chapter gathered tonight at our local coffee spot to discuss next years plans. Our sister Joan is away at her trailer but still joined in virtually, she is on the phone in this picture making sure shes still apart of the planning. Even though it was late, im sure we were all tired it was great just to be with our sisters and share our hopes for this upcoming sorority year🩷

Sorority Program Ideas:

 Girls Night In, Pizza and Manicures/Pedicures
 Seniors Pen Pals (Get a pen pal email address from one of the retirement homes and begin a pen pal chain for the year)
 Sister Survival Kits (Put together Grab bags of things that sisters will need over a holiday break such as Christmas, Examples socks, chocolates, wine, a movie, or book.
 Hold Pledge Training activity for group pledges that are fun like a trivia game. Have pledges read a chapter from the book between meetings then ask them a question the pledge with the greatest number of right guesses wins a prize.
 Sorority Guess Who Game – Write a number of sheets about local sorority members and play the fun guess game those with the highest number of correct answers wins a prize.
 Sister Portrait. Have someone come out and take a portrait of the chapter. Maybe a holiday portrait or special occasion.
 Sorority treasure gift. If you have a gift that is special to you from sorority you can pass it along to another member and provide a little history on it to the chapter.
 Make Pin Boxes for your sorority badges to be kept in when not using them so you always know where they are.
 Pick a Day Trip – Christmas Play and Dinner. Shopping
 Make Up Night, having an artist come in and do everyone’s make up.
 Drive By Birthday Celebration. Pull up to a sister’s house on her birthday and blare music dance and leave balloons and a rose.
 Practice Caroling Together and attend the tree lighting ceremony.
 Summer Book Club (Send all the same books to sisters and meet and discuss feelings about it)
 Have a fashion Show.
 Henna Tattoo night
 Plant a flower in a cool planter.

We had our yearly closing meeting at Grandmas Kitchen. A great lunch was had by all but the company of sisters is the best.
